Cosmos Stars Quilt Pattern: Pre-Printed Pattern and FPP Templates

The Cosmos Stars quilt features 55 stars and 4 borders. The whole pattern is FPP! The star blocks all have floating points, which makes it a dream to assemble!  Foundation paper piecing is used throughout the entirety of the quilt. By using the FPP technique, greater precision and accuracy is achieved, and the blocks are easier to piece together as a result. While this pattern does have points to match in the quilt, it has been designed to minimize point matching as much as possible so it is actually easier to piece than it first appears. Additionally, this pattern has also been designed so all stars are ‘floating’ to make the assembly of the quilt easier since minimal points will need to be matched. As a result, this quilt is easier to make than it looks!

Cosmos Stars is a very detailed pattern with fabric requirements, coloring pages, cutting instructions, piecing and assembly instructions, and all of the templates needed to make the entire quilt. The pattern includes directions to make both throw and queen size quilts. The throw size measures 66 by 66 inches and ends after the beautiful braided border including 27 stars and 3 borders. The queen size measures 94 by 94 inches and includes all 55 stars and 4 borders.

This listing is for a pre-printed pattern that is shipped to you! It comes with a complete set of newsprint FPP templates with enough to make the queen size quilt. This is a convenient option if you do not want to print out the pattern and templates yourself. A fabric kit is also available to purchase with the same fabrics as shown in the quilt photos.
