Diamond in a Square Blocks: Pre-Printed FPP Templates

The Diamond in a Square block is so much easier to sew with FPP! This pattern comes in 6 sizes to choose from and is pre-printed on thin newsprint and shipped to you! The Diamond in a Square can stand on its own in a quilt, but it is also frequently used as an alternating block or as a block within a block, such as the Ohio Star design. Diamond in a Square is also perfect if you have some fabrics you want to showcase as focal fabric, particularly larger scale prints. This block is perfect  for fussy cutting as well. It can be a bit tricky to get perfect squares and points the correct size when using the traditional piecing method. This is where foundation paper piecing (FPP) comes into play to easily sew perfect Diamond in a Square blocks!
