Half Square Triangles (HSTs) in a Row: PDF FPP Templates

The Half Square Triangle (HST) is such a classic and versatile component of so many quilt blocks, but it can be frustrating to make with traditional piecing methods. Quilters struggle to make them to the correct size, or they make them bigger and trim them down which is so time consuming! By using HST in a Row FPP templates, quilters can get accuracy, making an entire row quickly, and only trimming after the entire row of HSTs are sewn. So much less work and a time saver, plus the results are perfect! You can use these HSTs in a row within the main component of many quilt blocks, but you can also use them for borders. You can make the rows longer by adding additional paper rows or you can make them shorter by cutting HSTs off of the paper rows.
