Storm at Sea: Pre-Printed Quilt Pattern and FPP Templates

This wildly popular “Storm at Sea” pattern dates back to the early 1900s. Although it looks very complicated with a circular illusion, it is simple to sew with all straight edges. This quilt gets its name for the exciting way the shapes seem to dance on the quilt like a storm at sea!

The Storm at Sea queen size quilt is for a 87.5 by 98 inch quilt. Includes the Storm at Sea Pattern plus 330 FPP templates that are pre-printed on newsprint and mailed to you! This detailed pattern includes cutting instructions, pattern tips, assembly instructions, a coloring page, and foundation paper piecing (FPP) templates with extras just in case. All templates will be provided on 8.5 by 11 inch newsprint paper. Newsprint is perfect for FPP because it perforates so nicely when sewing, and removing it is easier than with standard, white paper. The quilt pattern is offered in two sizes: Queen (87.5 by 98 inches) includes 330 pre-printed FPP templates and Throw (66 by 66 inches) - includes 176 pre-printed FPP templates. The pattern assumes that you have a basic knowledge of paper piecing, and instructions on the FPP sewing technique are not included.
